TYLin’s Project Management + Construction Management (PM+CM) practice area announces the addition of Mazen Mneimneh, PE, QSD, as a Senior Program Manager and Construction Services Manager in southern California. Mazen will work closely with PM+CM leaders to identify and pursue projects for this rapidly growing practice.

Mazen will expand the PM+CM presence in Orange and Los Angeles counties by developing new clients and working through existing contracts in the region. His 25 years of experience managing bridge, rail and transit, and roadway construction projects, along with his knowledge of the region’s transportation system, is a natural fit with TYLin’s rich history of working on southern California’s largest infrastructure projects.

With a wide range of project experience, from bridge construction and highway interchanges to street improvements and roadway rehabilitation, Mazen’s knowledge encompasses bridge construction, bridge seismic retrofits, street beautifications, road widening, overlay, jointed plain concrete and asphalt pavements, retaining walls, traffic signals, landscaping, and local street improvements. He also has experience developing and constructing vertical projects ranging in value from USD 500 million to USD 1.3 billion. His project experience includes the Gerald Desmond Bridge replacement in Long Beach, Firestone Boulevard Bridge replacement in Norwalk, Higuera Street Bridge replacement in Culver City, Central Avenue rehabilitation in Montclair, and the Burj Khalifa (the world’s tallest tower) in Dubai.

Mazen’s focus on constructability and value engineering assures efficiency and functionality while reducing risks. His logical approach to staffing, dedication to cost control, and commitment to coordinating among design packages ensure smooth project execution. With experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with the Caltrans-Local Assistance Program, all levels of local, state, and federal agencies, environmental and regulatory agencies, and utility companies, Mazen will be an immediate asset to the PM+CM team.

"We welcome Mazen to TYLin and look forward to further expanding our clients and services in southern California,” notes Phil Yartey, PE, Senior Vice President and PM + CM Sector Leader of the Americas. “Mazen will play a key role in that growth. Our clients will benefit from his success overseeing infrastructure projects. His meticulous approach to project management, scheduling, cost controls, and bid process management align seamlessly with our commitment to delivering excellence.”

In addition to being a licensed professional engineer and a Qualified SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) Developer, Mazen is a licensed General Contractor in California. He also holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University.
